Championing the Future of Early Childhood in New Mexico
The New Mexico Early Childhood Association Political Action Committee (NMECA PAC) is the advocacy arm of the New Mexico Early Childhood Association, mobilizing collective action to champion policies and investments that uplift children, families, and the dedicated professionals who serve them.
We work to ensure that early childhood issues are not only heard but prioritized at the Roundhouse and in communities across the state. By uniting the voices of early childhood educators, providers, and advocates, the NMECA PAC helps elect leaders who understand that high-quality early care and education is the foundation of a thriving New Mexico.
Our Mission
The NMECA PAC exists to influence public policy through strategic advocacy, candidate support, and community mobilization. We promote policies that:
-
Expand access to affordable, high-quality early learning for all families.
-
Strengthen the early childhood workforce through professional development, fair compensation, and workplace supports.
-
Increase investments in childcare infrastructure and sustainability.
-
Protect the rights and wellbeing of early childhood educators and providers.
